Summer Is Around the Corner

Ah, yes!  Summer is nearly upon us, as we turn the corner into the month of June.  I tend to look forward to the months from June through September.

I love the long days with the sky still light when it is time to go to bed. I enjoy being able to take night walks without fear of what is lurking in the dark corners. I look forward to spending more time with people who seem to need less sleep during the summer.

We typically do not get the scorching summers here in the Pacific Northwest as I have experienced having lived many places elsewhere in the United States. I think the summers here are as perfect as summers can be.

I am also looking forward to the Fremont Fair this year. I missed it last year. I think I am going to see if I can stay in Seattle for that weekend so I can attend all three days.  We shall see.
