Celebrate!

And in the end, it’s not the years in your life that count, it’s the life in your years.  ~ Abraham Lincoln

Though I feel very fortunate to celebrate another birthday today, my promise is to continue to live each day in celebration of the people who love and support me.

I am grateful, indeed, to have been blessed with so many incredible examples of how to truly live life.

Celebrate life!  Celebrate love!  Celebrate one another!

Happy birthday to you Coral, how come everyone else gets to have birthdays on Fridays, except me? 🙂

I’m sitting at a desk, with an open window, looking onto a car park in warm sunshine, in a little town in the west of Ireland. Outside, there is ‘a full and frank exchange of views’ going on, between two ladies, one of them about four years old, and the other her mum.

The conversation does’nt carry well on the breeze, but one side of it is
    ” No………..Noooooo…………noooooo…………..noooooooo (and more) noooooooo”.

I hope that today you have a good day, free from fear, or worry. We’re all sailing on the one breeze, and can shout across the water to those a little ahead, or abeam, or a little behind, but we fear neither the open sea, nor the lights of port, for we’re together on one, and they’re warming seats for us in the other.

    1. Oh, Mick! How this post made me smile. Thank you. It is my hope that one day, in the not too distant future, you will be able to show me around that quaint little town in Ireland. “…we fear neither the open sea, nor the lights of port, for we’re together on one, and they’re warming seats for us in the other.” LOVE it!
